Our website address is: https://jameswaithaka.co.ke.
We collect data from you in several ways to provide our services and to understand how our website is being used.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
We use tracking technologies, such as the Facebook (Meta) Pixel and the Reddit Pixel (or similar technologies), on our website to collect information about your activities. This data includes, but is not limited to:
This information allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements and to show you relevant advertisements on Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and other platforms.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
We share your data with the following third-party service providers:
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Data collected via advertising pixels is retained for the duration required by the respective platform’s terms of service and for as long as is necessary to support our business operations, typically not exceeding 13 months for ad optimization purposes.
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
You can manage your preferences for targeted advertising through the following methods:
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Data is also sent to third-party advertising partners (Meta, Reddit) which may involve the transfer of data outside of your country of residence, including to the United States. We rely on the standard contractual clauses or other legal mechanisms to ensure your data is protected.

Our refund policy for ebooks and other digital downloads lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund.
Because our products are digital downloads, there are no physical returns or exchanges. A refund is granted only when a verifiable issue prevents access to or use of the ebook.
To be eligible for a refund, you must be able to demonstrate a valid technical issue or access problem with the ebook that we are unable to resolve. Valid issues may include:
Non-Refundable Circumstances:
Refunds will not be issued for:
Non-Returnable Items:
For clarity, the following items are exempt from refunds:
To complete your refund request, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your refund request is received, we will review the reported issue. We will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at jwaithax@gmail.com.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are considered final sale and cannot be refunded.
Since all our products are digital, we do not process exchanges in the traditional sense. We only replace a purchased file if it is defective or damaged and we can verify the issue. If you need a replacement for a defective file, send us an email at jwaithax@gmail.com.
If an ebook was purchased as a gift, the refund process remains the same, where the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Contact us at jwaithax@gmail.com for questions related to refunds.
